Kits 68022, 134250, 157794, and 163203The following kits all match the Garvis Gilbert of Harford Co., MD line and all share the unique mutation of DYS 391 = 11. Three of these four kits, 68022 and 163203, have paper trails taking them back to two different sons of Daniel Gilbert Sr. b. 1730/31. Descendants of Daniel's brothers do not have this mutation, so we know this mutation originated with Daniel himself. Therefore, all male Gilbert descendants of Daniel will have this mutation (barring a further mutation on the marker). 1. Michael Gilbert b. abt. 1605 in Yorkshire, Eng d. 1677 in Yorkshire, Eng The following participant also has this DYS 391=11 value as well as ties to South Carolina where Daniel moved. He undoubtedly descends from Daniel, but how is not yet known. 1. Lorenzo Dow Gilbert b 1807 SC d 1862 Polk County, NC
