The DNA results for the above two participants are a good match supporting the relationship shown above. Because both participants descend from Joseph Gilbert b. 1629, we can consider the DNA of this family proven back to him, and will assume it represents the Taunton, MA line until/unless proven differently.
Also matching this line but not knowing the connection is Kit 31072 below. Kit 121263, however, did not match. From newly surfaced estate records for Moses, it appears that William was not Moses' son and was born to Moses' wife Rebecca after Moses had died. This would explain the DNA difference.
